I’m using Better Notifications for WP to email New ‘Event’ Published notifications. I don’t find a shortcode for “event_date” in the documentation. Does it exist? Events Manager Pro is the event calendar plugin being used in addition to BNFW.

After testing, the [event] shortcode is an partial workaround. It displays all of the event details which includes the date.

    Hi @wpbccwnc5,
    Thanks for your message.

Does using [event] resolve this for you or do you still need help?

The [event] shortcode is a non-optimal workaround. It displays all of the event details which is far more information than I want. The [event] shortcode does include the event date.
    Thank you.

    Hi @wpbccwnc5,
If the event date is a standard field within WordPress then you can use the [post_date] shortcode.

If not, you can use the custom fields add-on or write your own custom field to cater for this.

[post_date] shows the date the event was posted to the website instead of the date the event is scheduled to happen. I’ll take a look at the custom fields.
    Thank you.
