BNFW plugin interaction with Sparkpost plugin

    Is the BNFW plugin compatible with the Sparkpost plugin?

    with both plugins activated (in my test environment) I get email notifications from BNFW but I do not get a record of the transactional emails in my Sparkpost account reports. So it seems to me as if the notifications are actually being delivered by my WP host mail server (not a recommended practice) rather than via sparkpost.

    Hi r.young,
    Thanks for your message.

    I don’t have any direct experience with Sparkpost myself however, BNFW will use whatever method WordPress sends emails out via. If this is set to be using wp_mail() then it’ll use that, if it’s using an SMTP plugin, it’ll use that instead.

    Sorry no it doesn’t help
    I am logging a call with Sparkpost
    I do think it is something to be resolved at a developer level but just who has a problem I don’t know.

    BTW I did not get an email notification of your reply
