BNFW with bbPress

    Hello,

    I’ve followed all of your suggestions to try and get this to work but with no success. Notifications work fine when setting up one for a new default WP Post or Page that was published but no email goes out at all when a new Forum Topic or Forum Reply is published. I have email log installed and there is nothing there. I have Post SMTP installed as well. Other emails have no problem going through. It’s something specifically with BBPress. Please let me know if this is possible to work with bbPress.

    Hi @mcirami,
    Thanks for your message.

    BNFW isn’t fully compatible with bbPress at this time. Whilst the post types show up in BNFW, bbPress uses different hooks for posting/commenting which BNFW doesn’t support yet. Support is coming, but there’s no timeframe for this yet.
