Body classes

After I’ve switched to “Opt-In (Cookies are disabled until banner is accepted)” cookie confirmation type, the body classes were applied again.

Are the body classes tight to cookies in WordPress?

the problem you descrive could be related with the way your theme put body class inside html.

If your theme use OB functions, maybe they conflict with ginger:
https://php.net/manual/en/function.ob-start.php

The theme adds body classes using WordPress native method via a filter https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Function_Reference/body_class#Add_Classes_By_Filters No buffering used.

Anyway, thank you for help, I am not using the Ginger plugin any more.
