    Hi!

This plugin is perfect for allowing me to track our clients’ weight loss progress.

But we also believe that monitoring our client’s fat loss, alongside their weight loss, gives them and us a much better indicator of overall health.

So, this is really a feature request to also record body fat percentage!

Essentially it would operate exactly the same way as weight loss tracker – with a target percentage, entry screen, charts and the same tags for displaying the differences and so on. Only you wouldn’t even have the added headache of messing about with metric/imperial conversions! It’s just a single number.

I hope this is something you can add in the future, or it could even be a separate plugin.

(I’m still in a testing phase for my site but I’ll be buying the pro version of this soon ?? )

Oh I’ve just seen your roadmap page and that it includes more measurements for Bust/Chest, Waist, and so on. All of those would be very cool too.

So, just add body fat percentage to that list!

    Thanks.

    Ha… easy as that eh!

I may add it in a following release. What units are body fat measured in?

    Cheers,

    Al

    Thanks for the reply ??

Body fat is measured as a percentage of your total body mass – so it’s just a regular number, nothing special! It’s usually measured with 1 decimal point. For example my current body fat percentage is about 24.5% – a tiny bit above average for me!

    Thanks again for considering this.

I want to second the Bodyfat % as a feature request.

Another possible way to implement this would be to input Bodyfat as lean weight.

For example, I use a scale that gives me weight as well as body fat %. So, I take that bodyfat (say 30%) and multiply it by my total weight (say 300lbs), to give me a lean weight of 210lbs.

As a user, it is a bit incentive to see the trend towards convergence of the lines tracking total weight and lean weight.
