Body font color changed, Customize not working

I tried making a change to my text color because for some reason it’s light gray. I had it st to #333333 but nothing changes when I tried to reset it. I also added some custom CSS and none of it took.

I wrote a post using Gutenberg and I think it messed everything up. My link colors changed. I’m not sure how anything is displaying correctly. What caused this problem, and more importantly, how do I fix it? It appears no changes in Appearance > Customize is working.
