I don’t see anything “cut off”… What I see is your page is too short ??

haha yes, not much there right now, I need to figure out the cut-off thing though. the picture and text on the left of the main part of my “About” is not all showing. The picture should have a black border all around. viewed in both FF and IE i see the picture is cut-off and the text as well.

    Shown: “find something more”
Should be: “Until I find something more”

Are you using an old version of Frontpage?

    <font size="2">Until I find something
    more interesting to put here</font>

WP didn’t do that. You can’t have font tags with the strict DOCTYPE you are using. That may be part of your problem.

i tried a test: deleted everything, and just 4 words: “This is a test”

    Shown: “a test”

so, a few pixels are being cut-off somewhere in the code and i still can’t figure out where …

i was using dreamweaver before, but for the “test” used nothing.

this is very frustrating heh …

i’m not sure what’s being cut off, as it looks fine in FF?

If you’re trying to add more white space above and below your sidebar/post stuff, just add margins into your css. 1 margin in your sidebar ul, and another in your post id.

damn … it seems like i’m the only one seeing it ??

but i’m using both IE and FF to view the page, and on both the left side of the Main post area on my About page is being cut off. i’ve posted a pic for an example. there should be a black border around (4 sides) of the picture, but i see just three (top/right/bottom) … can i decrease the margin in “style.css” perhaps?

You are using a lot of br tags too and I don’t see why. Try putting your “this is a test” between p tags and see if that works. Right now, your text is really not contained very well.

Well, probably it would be a good idea to validate your code first… You have 2 </p> tags after your closing </html> tag.

Ditto, you should download the firefox tidy tool. It shows you errors and warnings when you view source.

i have no idea where all these errors are coming from, i’m assuming my template i’m using for “sidebar” and the like … where can i find the tidy tool? are you at least seeing the problem i’m talking about so i don’t think i’m crazy? ??

Looks like you are missing a <div id="content"> in your page Template. That’s why your about page is way over to the left compared to your normal posts.
