    How do I stop the auto removal of backward slash (e.g. \)?
    When a user submits an email form they include a network path to a folder on our server. The backward slashes get removed which makes it hard to copy and paste into file explorer for easy access.

    As you may already know, the removal of backslash is necessary for security reasons. If your users use backslash for some legitimate purposes, I would advise you to ask them to use slash instead of backslash, or code a JavaScript to automatically replace all backslashes in inputs to slash.
