Hi, We have a BOGO coupon to be automatically applied to the cart when a customer has $800 or more in their cart. They then get a notification directing them to choose from a list of free products they are eligible for. However, if their cart is under $800 and add one of the the products from the “free” list which bumps it over $800, the coupon is applied and the cart shows the product for free even though the subtotal is now less than $800 just like it was before adding that product.

E.g. a $750 dresser and a $200 nightstand are added to the cart. The $200 nightstand is also a part of the GET list when they become eligible. So when adding the nightstand, the coupon is triggered, and the cart shows the nightstand for free even though the subtotal is only $750.

When the customer goes to checkout, the product is no longer free. But how can I prevent this error from showing in the customer’s cart?

    Hi @dolphinflamingo,

I’m sorry for the delayed reply. I assume that you are using the Cart Condition Cart Subtotal the BOGO Coupon?

At the moment, it’ll only check the first subtotal before the discount applies. Our dev is planning to improve this feature so it would also calculate the subtotal after any price adjustment. @eta

But I’m afraid I couldn’t give you the ETA upon completion. Kindly be patient and we’ll definitely keep you in the loop when the update is released.

    Best regards,
