boldface not showing up when I hit publish

Check the css in your style.css.

It’s most likely something in there. For example the strong attribute could have been reset and might need to be redefined.

Thanks Jared. How do you do that or can you point me to a resource that shows me how to work the stylesheet?

I’m comfortable with the html stuff, but have very little experience with the stylesheet.

I thought the problem was the stylesheet but I don’t know what I am looking for.
