    Have you tried setting “Display author with title” to No on the Options page?

    Ok thank you I solved, but is it only a good trick? I hope in future to display also the author name and the author’s books

    It’s not a “trick”. What’s happening is that I am using a filter to modify the output of the post title to add the author to the title. The filter also adds a link to the author’s page so you can click on that and see all the books by that author. The issue is that some themes are also adding filters to the title to change the output in ways that the plugin isn’t expecting, which causes the code to end up getting broken.

    That’s what that option was added for. It removes the filter to add the author (and link to the author’s book list) and just displays the post title (book title) the way it would display normally.

    I’m currently working on an update to the plugin and I’ve added a ticket to add an option to display the book’s author without a link, but be aware that this still might not be compatible with your specific theme.
