I see that in your demo site, reviews are listed with a featured image that has the proportions of a book cover.

I use the same theme in my website, where the featured image is horizontal. So a list of reviews is not very nice.

How could you get such vertical images?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This is because I am using a custom child-theme to display book covers instead of the featured image.

I can clean it up and make it available to you if you’re interested.

Yes, thank you. I am very interested. Especially if it is possible to differentiate between Reviews and normal Posts or Pages.

    Hi Kemory,
if there is really the possibility to have the customization of the child-theme, to display book covers instead of the featured image, I would be very happy.

    Hello.
Sorry for the delayed response. I had started working this, then things started to happen…

Here is the Hueman child-theme I am using on Recencio.com. https://gitlab.com/w33zy/hueman-child

I just looked for how the theme calls the thumbnail which was hu_the_post_thumbnail('medium'), then I replaced that function with the the_rcno_book_cover( get_the_ID(), 'rcno-book-cover-lg' ) Recencio function

    Thank you.
Before I try to apply it, is it possible to keep in the same theme bot the post/page and the Recencio review thumbails?

I think I may need to adjust it so that it displays the book cover if it is present, if not it uses the featured image.
