    A friend recently asked me about creating a car auction website for him. I know there is a ton of information at www.ads-software.com and other places online. I am feeling fairly overwhelmed with all the info available.

    Since books are commercial this may be an inappropriate question.

    I am looking for recommendations for books. I like physical books.
    Best Practices
    Good foundation to build on
    Beautiful Web Design
    And any other subject a beginner might need

  • I don’t know any english books, but take a look at https://wp101.com. WP101 has very nice introduction video’s and other commercial tutorial video’s.

    Creating a car auction website would involve front end design and most importantly “Auction Logic” and dedicated features to handle payment once there is a winner.
