I’m finding that attempts to use my blog post tags after installing the plugin do not work. On one blog, which uses the Twenty Twelve theme, clicking on blog tags tries to find books with that tags and does not turn up blog posts. On another blog, which uses the PressWork theme, it doesn’t acknowledge that the blog tag has been clicked. It just takes me to the home page, regardless of what the URL at the top says.

I tried sending an email regarding this but have not seen a reply.

Thanks for reaching out here. I did not receive your email. Sorry about that!

The problem with the blog/book tag conflicts will be fixed with version 2, which will be up as soon as I can get it ready to go.

I’ll look into the PressWork theme to see if there are additional conflicts with that.

    Thanks!

This should be resolved with the v2.0 update. Let me know if you still have problems.

    Yay! It’s fixed!

Yay! Thank you! I had stopped adding tags to my regular blog posts because of this. I have a few to go back and update now ??

    Hi,

I have recently updated to WordPress 4.3.1 and for some reason now when I click on a ‘genre’ or ‘tag’ on my books post even though the url specifies genre/irish-history for example, every post I have created in WordPress (such as an event and a ‘blog post’) is returned not just books. Is there a way to fix this?

    Thanks!

Hmmm…. I’m running WP 4.3.1 and not having that issue.

What version of Mooberry Book Manager are you running? Did this used to work and now it isn’t? Or has this always been the case?

You could try refreshing your Permalinks (in your dashboard, click on Settings => Permalinks and click Save Changes without making any changes) and see if that helps?

I think I have the latest version of the plugin (Mooberry Book Manager 2.2) and I tried refreshing the Permalinks but that didn’t work.

I’m using the Eco-Nature theme by CMS masters, is there a possibility of conflict?

Everything else seems to work very nicely and I really like how the book pages are displayed.

As it’s a premium theme I can’t see the code to know if that’s what’s causing this.

Can you post a link to your website so I can take a look?

Another thing to try, install the Monkeyman Rewrite Analyzer plugin and go to Tools -> Rewrite Analyzer. Copy and Paste the results or post a screenshot or email it to me if you prefer, bookmanager @ mooberrydreams.com.
