As it is now, whether I have it set to require admin approval or not (ideally not), the issue is that the single spot available for our particular booking events is “occupied” by the first person to click the “book” button. This person may never click ahead to the payment screen, resulting in a “dead” event that nobody else can book to completion even if they wanted to.

I’m sure I’m just doing something wrong in the settings. Can someone point me in the right direction? (To clarify, I’m using the MyCred payment gateway).

I also noticed that the payment setup is not intuitive. When the user clicks the “book” button on the event listing, they are given a “success” message and left at that. If they want to make a payment, they need to navigate to the “my-bookings” page and handle it from there. Is there a simple way to streamline this process and make booking payments a very clear requirement?

Thanks in advance for the help! I really love the plugin! It’s amazing how much work you guys put into this.

just to confirm, are you using placeholder bookingbutton in your events listing page which bookings the event without going to single events page?

In this case I’m using the separate plugin “WP Fullcalendar” to display the events on an interactive calendar. When the user clicks on the event they are brought to the single events page (www.mydomain.com/events/[event name]). The user books the event from this page.

This sounds like an issue with your payment gateway add-on, rather than a problem with Events Manager or your Events Manager settings. You’ll need to contact the support for the MyCred gateway for help with this.

With the PayPal payment gateway that comes with Events Manager Pro, there’s an option to delete the booking if payment isn’t made within (X) mins. Maybe there’s a similar setting in the MyCred gateway?

Am experiencing similar issue in my own case, just that mine payment method is mycred point and not PayPal. How can I fix this.
    Your plugin is superb!

@phenandys Glad you’re enjoying the plugin. Unfortunately, we can’t offer support for third-party add-ons. You’d need to contact the add-on developer for support.
