I am envisioning a new feature for my website, whereupon a logged in user can click a button embedded in each post to “bookmark” a specific post to their profile. In addition to being able to check back into their profile to find a specific post, I would also like to aggregate the results into a “most bookmarked” list.

I’ve looked at all the voting plugins I can find (well, at this point, wp-postratings seems to be the only one around – Votio and Post Vote are both offline), but all seem to work on a 1-5 scale, whereas I want only to record whether it’s been checked or not. And of course, none of them save to a profile.

So, the question is: is there a plugin that does something even remotely similar?

If not, can anyone give me any guidance on going about building one?

Or, finally, would anyone be willing to do it for me? I may be able to offer some cash.

    Thanks,
    Dalton
