Bootstrap slider changed on tablets

This theme has the built-in slider, which is fully responsive… but my problem is that,

When I view my site on ipads, the slider function is removed and instead, the images are listed in a static vertical column.

The ipad layout is nice but I would rather keep the slider going horizontal like it does on wide screen and smartphones…
