• I’m looking for a snippet of code that might allow me to place a border around all of my post excerpts by default. Each of these excerpts would include thumbnails but there should be no references to author, tags etc.

I am not using my home page for displaying posts. Instead, I am using a plug-n called Associated-Posts that allows posts to be called upon on any page where the post category or tag is selected from within the page options.

If possible, I’d like to not have to mess with any of my theme’s files (I’m using Suffusion). This way, I can continue upgrading the theme without losing any work.

Suffusion provides an area for adding custom CSS that survives after the theme is updated. Optimally, I’d be able to add the CSS in that area to effect the desired changes?

Here is an example of what I am looking for: https://califund.com/purchase-loans/. I cheated on this view – what looks like excerpts aren’t excerpts at all. They are actually entire posts that I styled to look like excerpts.

Would love to hear any ideas!

    Thanks for reading.
