    Hi there,

I only have a few affiliates (7 total) after deleting some who weren’t active anymore.

Under the CLICK TRACKING tab, I can see tens of thousands of entry records, a lot which are from these previous deleted affiliates and weren’t automatically removed by WPAM plugin.

A lot are also bots, like bingbot or googlebot. Would be great to be able to ignore these to avoid bloating the database.

Q1: What is the quick way to bulk delete some of these records?
Q2: After trying to manually delete a few, I am starting to get the following blank page error message now whenever I try to delete one:

414 – Request-URI Too Long – The requested URL’s length exceeds the capacity limit for this server.

    Thank you

    BR

PS: Ticket was closed without solution.

Why does it say URI too long, why you cannot bulk delete these records?
Why don’t you exclude them from tracking?

Admin function only allows you to delete records from a date range, I want to delete all these bingbot, googlebot etc IPs tracking records manually but cannot.

your reply was to bulk delete everything using the date range in admin tools. That’s not what I am trying to do thanks

If you have too many entries there, try selecting a smaller number of entries then do a bulk delete of those. It will take multiple attempts to delete all the entries but you should be able to delete those off. Alternatively, you can use the PHPMyAdmin tool of your site to delete all the records from the clicks database table.

    Hey,

Thanks for the tip will try via mysql directly

I don’t know it is weird. You can delete 2-3 pages before it starts giving this request URI too long page.

Then you cannot remove a single entry anymore for an hour or so

Starting to wonder if it isn’t coming from wordfence but doubt it

    Hello,

Not sure it actually comes from your plugin, could be from WP directly actually.

The workaround is to quit the page every 3-4 bulk delete and to reopen it. You then won’t get the “414 – Request-URI Too Long – The requested URL’s length exceeds the capacity limit for this server.” error when trying to bulk delete bot clicks data
