• Hi I’ve setup a roster using the standard method shown in info and it works fine. I then bought the multi relational database plugin so I could create other various rosters. I made a new group but I am finding that the fields for the second group are appearing on the same page as the first group. I suspect that it is because they are both using the same [pdb_signup] shortcode. So how do I create another shortcode that I can then use on a second page for example [pdb_signup2]

Questions about our paid add-on plugins should go on our website in the product’s forum, this one is for the free Participants Database plugin, thanks.

For your question, the [pdb_record] shortcode can detect which type of record is getting displayed and will show only the groups for that particular type. So, the first thing to check is the type configurations for which groups you have enabled, and also that you have “Use Field Groups” enabled.

If a record has more than one type designation, the results may be unexpected, so it’s best to have only a single relational type assigned to a record.

It is possible to restrict the [pdb_record] to a single type (using the type attribute), but that shouldn’t be necessary.
