Bots passing registration

  • Hi, I use ReallySimple Captcha (instead of ReCaptcha) to register users. Recently, I found some bots passed the registration: I suppose this means ReallySimple Captcha is not working as expected anymore. Maybe the problem is that I use the latest WP version (4.9.8), but could it be a WP-members-related issue too? Just asking ??

    Do you have WordPress set to allow registrations? Look at Settings > General to see if “anyone can register” is checked. If so, I’d recommend turning that off.

    “Anyone can register” is currently unchecked (and it has always been unchecked)
