Bots slowing down my website

    Hello

    I’m currently using the free version of Wordfence on WordPress.

    My site has been hit by a large number of BOT’s since the 30th March, I’m concerned that it may slow down my server.

    I am not technical so I am unsure on how to approach this.

    If I look at the premium version of Wordfence, is this something that you can help with?

  • Hey @1stoptravel,

    Have you noticed any performance issues? If you do notice performance issues you might speak with your host to see if there’s a way they can help on the server/network level. Unfortunately, there’s only so much we can do to prevent attacks, it’s more about making sure they aren’t successful. Usually, after X amount of time with being unsuccessful, these bots will move on.
