    NOTE: I attempted to you use your “Still stuck, how can we help” form at your site, but get error message not sent?

    Great plugin, thank you for taking the time to share it with the community.

    Couple of things, please:

    1) Seems passwords or stored within database in plain text, does not seem very secure? Or, am I mistaken?

    2) I have another plugin (old plugin) that handles Amazon SES bounces. I see no way to configure bounce handling in your plugin?

  • Also would really like to know about SES bounce handling. If you’re plugin does not assist does this not make the SES integration incomplete?

    Not sure how this could be the wrong plugin thread? I was speaking about your plugin. If you have another plugin called “FluentSMTP”, could you kindly point me to to it?

    Ahh, That makes sense. AS an SMTP plugin I am not sure if it’s a scope of an SMTP plugin.
    For technical analysis: If we store bounce email addresses and have to check bounce email each time to send emails that will be costly for the people who send thousands of emails. If you use FluentCRM where it has bounce handling for the contacts.

    Ok. I use another SMTP and it has area to handle bounce email, which is very very important.

    Great plugin you have. But I feel bounce handling is a basic feature since many use a SMTP plugin to handle PHPmail sent by WordPress.

    That is the whole problem, I was looking for a new plugin. Since the author (was a paid plugin) abandoned it. Got so old was forced to disable and uninstall after WordFence found security issue.

    So I found your plugin and really liked it, hence me asking about bounce handling 3 months ago.

    I now use https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

    WP Mail SMTP does not have a bounce handling I think. Also if you compare the feature and UX. FluentSMTP has more feature than WP Mail SMTP Pro version.
