    Hello,

In the back office, the “Add file” button has disappeared, and I can no longer access the folders; each time, it only gives me the option to rename the folder.

I have tried installing and uninstalling it, but without success.

    <font style=”vertical-align: inherit;”><font style=”vertical-align: inherit;”>Comment puis-je résoudre ce problème ?</font></font>

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You might be missing something, add files icon will appear inside the directory not on hover or click.

Yes, thank you, but how do I do it?

@damdam38 the Add files button will not appear in the root directory. When you open a folder, you will find the Add files button next to the New folder button as you can see in the screenshot.

    Thank you,
But the problem is that I can no longer access the folders; the folder icon is missing. Only the folder name remains, and I can only rename it.
(See the screenshot in the first message)

@damdam38 in your case, folder icons are not visible on the plugin settings page. Please make sure Font Awesome is working on your website. To check this, right click on the folder, inspect and if you find the fa fa-folder in the HTML tag, it means Font Awesome is working on your website, as you can see here.

Also share the screenshot of your plugin settings page.

Merci pour votre réponse. J’ai bien vérifié dans l’inspecteur ainsi que dans les réglages d’Elementor, et les polices Font Awesome sont bien activées. J’ai aussi testé avec un autre thème, mais malheureusement, rien ne revient.

Thank you for your response! I’ve identified the source of the problem: the conflict is indeed caused by the WP Menu Icons plugin. When I deactivate it, the add file button and folder icons work again.

Could this information help you assist me in resolving the conflict?

    Thank you very much! ??

Sure, please contact the WP Menu Icons plugin author so they can restrict their scripts to their relevant settings page as WP Docs plugin do not include the icons scripts and styles on other page. I hope you understand.

    Hello,
I can’t contact WP menu Icons support because I don’t have a premium licence.
    Is there another solution please?

See, what plugin review team asked me to do earlier that me should keep my styles and scripts restricted to my plugin settings page only, I updated my plugin accordingly and things are working perfectly. Now its their turn to fix the issue on their side.

    OK,

I have updated your plugin on my side, but it didn’t change anything.
I hope WP-Menu-Icons will fix this issue, but I haven’t been able to notify them. μ

    Thank you for your responses.

You are amazing, I didn’t mention that I updated my plugin after your report. I just informed you about the coding practices recommended by the plugin review team earlier when my plugin was in approval process. So I followed the standards and now my plugin scripts are restricted to my plugin settings page only, not disturbing anything else.

I didn’t mean to upset you. I just noticed this morning that there was an update for the plugin, that’s all… I found a solution. Thank you.
