Box in Productcategory & ACF

I’m not exactly sure what you are trying to do but the free version only supports posts, not product pages. So that might be the cause ??

1. I bought a license and activated it correctly
2. What didn’t you understand about my problem?

Here’s my problem again:

When I paste the shortcode ( [simple-author-box] ) in the product category, the box doesn’t appear.

I have activated this setting “Manually insert the Simple Author Box” and would like to insert the box myself where I want it. It only doesn’t work for product categories.

The text field among the products in our product categories was created with the Advanced Custom Fields plugin. Maybe this is a problem for your plugin? If so, how can I ensure that the shortcode is also recognized in the created text fields by the ACF plugin?

Everything works as it should on all other pages, I only have problems with the product categories.

Actually, from what I understand from your 2nd explanation, since it applies to free as well I will try to answer it. Product or other category pages, archive pages etc. don’t have an author so Simple Author Box won’t normally show there as it doesn’t know what author to display.

So if you want to use the shortcode you will need to specify the author ID like [simple-author-box ids=”1″]
