Box shows up twice

Using the above code in CSS of your WP site should solve the issue.

Appearance-> Customise -> Additional Css

I have since discovered that this repeating of content is caused by the plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/reusable-text-blocks/

Also there is no css class .author-box on my site.
