BP Group Documents – cant upload – diverts to front page

  • Hello,

    I have added BP group documents, however when i click the documents tab in the forums it redirects me to the front page.

    Have tried reinstalling the plugin with no luck.

    Was wondering if this is because i am the admin?
    the group docs settings show the following options:

    Members & Moderators
    Moderators Only
    Let individual moderators decide

    have checked memb and mod option.

    i need to upload the docs before i invite members etc…

    Have been stuck on this for hours, i cant find the answer for this anywhere.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Have you tried contacting the author of the plugin? Or posting in the Plugins support forum?

    I have done that as well and am waiting for the answer, I’ll post back what he says for others.

    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=bp-group-documents-settings

    to :

    /wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=bp-group-documents-settings

    Hey, now it worx. You’ll find the admin-menu for bp-group-documents in the network-admin-menu in the buddypress-settings-menu “Group-Documents”. Add any file-extension you need and you’re set!

    hmm, a new PROBLEM came up: files larger than 10Mbs dont work yet! the upload of such files seems to work but after the page is reloaded the new item isn’t there and there’s also no file in the upload-directory … (((
