bp security and buddypress with bbpress forums

Everything runs fine with bulletproof security, apart from one thing I just can’t seem to fix.

When visiting a forum in a buddypress with bbpress group forum setup, things work fine. you can view posts and link to specific posts. When you make a post however things go bad, I get a 403 error.

This is the problem:
After a post is made the browser is redirected to an url like this:
https://www.mywebsite.com/groups/hardware/forum/topic/3d-mark-scores/?#post-143
I think the ?# in particular is being filtered since this:
https://www.mywebsite.com/groups/hardware/forum/topic/3d-mark-scores/#post-143
works just fine.

Any way to allow the redirected url as well? it’s very annoying.

This is a very old known issue and Yep, that is a malformed query string.

50% of the folks who upgrade do not have this problem anymore. Why that is not 100% I really have no idea???
