[ bracket] embed on the side bar?

  • Hi guys,
    I am trying to get a video embed working on my sidebar. I was hoping I could use the text widget and use the square bracket embed method, but that doesn’t work (it just gets displayed as text). The plug in I use for video in my posts is https://www.jovelstefan.de/embedded-video/

    Any other ideas to get a square bracket embed working on the sidebar? Or should I just try and find a new plugin/widget?

    I have now installed a widget that lets me put PHP code in my sidebar, but that doesn’t really help me use the [embed] method.

    Any ideas?
