Brand New Confused User

I know this has been created and replied thousands of times but I installed wordpress a few weeks ago and i finally started to get the ball rolling. Im trying to fully install wordpress and connect it to mysql and it will not open. I looked at every video tutorial and every word by word help but its just sending me in loops and it wont do what i need it to do. I really have no time to fool around with it and i’m growing more more impatient with it. I don’t have $500+ to hire someone to do it and this is important to me. I’m sure this has the simplicity of a preschool class but i’m assuming taking care of a family is making me more stressful than a web developer.
