Brand new install breaks page, sidebar

  • Hi –
    I’m getting unexpected behavior from a new install of Contact Form 7 on a WP 3.9 site – with Agency Pro child theme of Genesis Framework.
    When the shortcode for the form is added to the page, the following happens:

    1. The other text on the page doesn’t show
    2. The logged-in admin bar disappears

    The Page

    When I disable the plugin, all returns to normal.
    I have this running OK on other sites using wp 3.9.

    Does anyone have any insight into what might be happening here?
