brand new install gives blank screen

  • I’m having a problem with a brand new install of wordpress.

    I’ve setup a new MYSQL5.0 database and followed the instructions to setup wordpress. everything seems to work fine and the admin page loads fine.

    However, when I actually go to the site, all I get is a blank page.

    I’ve looked and cannot find a reason why this happens.

    Can anyone help?

    Ok, just made a new database and reinstall wordpress with a new download, exactly the same problem.

    I am having a similar issue. I installed it fine on a URL (same hosting company) to test it. I then registered a new URL and set that up on my hosting site. I now can’t do anything with WordPress at all. I just keep getting 500 errors. I re-did my sys config file and everything. I’m so frustrated.
