brand new install – redirect loop, help!

  • Tried installing WP fresh and when going to wp-admin/install.php I get a redirect loop.

    I’ve never used WP before and am getting quite frustrated at this point.

    Currently hosted at HostGator as a subaccount. Could it be I’m missing the htaccess file? I noticed there was none in there.

  • Hey jiggler, I can help you. You have to delete cookies and history this should help, becouse i had the same problem. You can do that by going on your browser (Internet explorer is mine) go to tools>internetoptions> and youll see lots of options… Good luck!
