Brand new installation – Can't login to WP-Admin?

    Hi,

    I just installed WordPress 3.4 from scratch and when I try to login it knows I’ve given the correct details but it just refreshes the page? What is going on?

    I’ve reinstalled and still the same thing is happening and I don’t understand why?

    My blog url is https://blog.jamesking56.co.uk

    Help! I’m stressing out because of this!

  • try going into your browsers settings and clear your cache. clear everything related to your webs url too.

    I worked it out in the end.

    Turns out I’d disabled cookies server-wide in my htaccess for the EU Cookie Law in the UK. Probably not the best idea so I’ve fixed it now.
