brand new password from WordPress

Just registered to South African band Overtone. Receive e-mail from WordPress giving me a Password. Told to login to link below. The Password I’ve been given….by WordPress….it’s not acceptable. I don’t understand that. I didn’t forget it. I followed it letter by number. Get yet another e-mail from WordPress asking if I wanted to reset. I don’t need to reset, just to be able to use the original Password given.
