• I have made a new template for WordPress. It’s the same template that I am using on my new Personal Blog Site. It’s a simple and clean blue theme with a white background. I will be releasing it to all WP users specially those who are new to WP like me. It’s should be available before the week end. I am also planning to integrate the Tagboard and Guestbook that I also used in my site. I am just waiting for the written permission from the developers.
    I have tested my template in recent version of Firefox, Opera, Mozilla, NS, and IE. I haven’t done any backward compatibility yet. It’s also a W3C XHTML/CSS compliant (my first attemp to design without table).
    You can view the index page for 800px screen here: https://www.yusop.net/blog/800.php
    For 1024px screen you can have a look here: https://www.yusop.net/blog/1024.php
    Any comments and suggestion is highly appreciated.

  • nice. I like it, but wouldn’t personally use it. I prefer something cleaner.

    I thought it looked familiar…. I finaly figured ou why the background doesn’t show. You’ve got it set to transparent:
    body { background-color: transparent; }
    Since my browser picks that up as being the same as no background, I get my horrid pale blue (which is how I notice these things.)

    Tg, you’re right about the background. I will edit my css now. Thanks.

    I know nobody cares (LOL) but in IE5.5 the “middle” menu sidebar goes down below the posts…

    Moshu, I have to setup an IE5 from a different PC ?? Thanks for that note. Actually, I am expecting that kind of thing.

    Do you guys think Tagboard and guestbook are useful if I integrate into my template, or should I just forget about it?

    I am looking for a good tagboard to integrate into wordpress, I wish I had the time to code a plugin
