    Hello, trying to click on a brand today and the page send me a 404 error instead of going on the desired brand with the products portfolio.

    Error seems to happen after updating recently the plugin on the last version, no other Brand plugin is used, I am on Flatsome theme.

    Thank you.

    Maybe has to do with Woocommerce new Brand function?

    == WooCommerce Changelog ==

    = 9.6.0 2025-01-20 =

    Update – Enabled Brands to all users. #53083

    I am experiencing the same error, and it is indeed related to the new option introduced in WooCommerce Brands. In the latest version, they added this message:

    “Exciting news! This extension’s features are coming to WooCommerce Core in mid-to-late January 2025. No separate install needed—enjoy a streamlined experience soon!”

    The issue arises because it conflicts with the same slug /brand/. My preference is not to use the WooCommerce brand option. What solution exists to resolve this conflict?

    The 404 error occurs because both the Perfect Brands for WooCommerce plugin and the new WooCommerce Brands functionality introduced in the latest WooCommerce update are using the same slug (brands). Since there are no brands created under the new WooCommerce Brands functionality, the pages are returning a 404 error. How to Fix It:

    1. Change the Brand Slug:
      • Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Permalinks.
      • Under the “Brand Base” option for Perfect Brands for WooCommerce, change the slug from brands to something unique, such as product-brands or custom-brands.

    Hello guys,

    We would like to thank you for your valuable contributions and the fixes you’ve shared in this thread. We are aware of the new WooCommerce update and the conflict with the brand functionality that has arisen. Our development team is already working to assess what steps we can take from our side to address this issue.

    Best regards, Quadlayers Support Team.

    That’s quite silly that the authors of premium plugins for WC were surprised by this update, which was announced already a while back. Makes you wonder how well you test against new versions, or if at all…

    It seems the WC devs already thought of this scenario and you can just release an update where you disable the new WC brands feature by setting the wc_feature_woocommerce_brands_enabled?flag to no.

    In the meantime, anyone stuck can do the same. Find details here:
