I want the title of my blog on one line but it keeps breaking because #branding is 45%. I tried to make this 100% but that doesn’t seem to work either. I also tried to enlarge the font in #site-title but that also doesn’t seem to have any effect.

I do notice in the code that in thje head section there is a <style> section. Is this overriding the code from the style.css?

  • Where exactly did you put in your CSS ?

Theme comes with Custom CSS option and that will override the default stylesheet. In addition to that, make sure the header widget does not contain any widget in it.

I changed style.css in the theme.
So i changed #branding and #site-title but nothing seems to happen.
Looks like the customizing settings of the theme override the style in style.css.

    PS header widget is empty

Keep all the theme files untouched, revert any edited files to original.

For CSS, only put your code into the Custom CSS under Theme Option.

    Worked like a charm, thanx.
