Brands shortcode causes error editing page

I have exactly the same issue, any page with the brand’s shortcode when you update the page, then it goes to the product page. And there is “Product” written in the post type. But it is a page.

How to fix it?

We did test is and found an issue. It is fixed now and added to the next plugin version 3.8

It is under testing now. When our QA will finish with test we will release new version of the plugin.

I tried replacing line 205 to 215 inclusive from the includes folder but I got a critical error.

We get a critical error page for WP as a whole so nothing to screenshot!

@samfran Critical errors are written in the PHP error log. There should be description of what is wrong.

Code looks ok. Please check PHP error log for the error.
