Thank you very much. This plugin is so useful.

I had to migrate a web site from Dotclear to WP and the question of images was a big deal.

With “Import External Images” it became an easy trick.

There is a few things to improve:
– Instead of excluding domains from witch we don’t want to import it would be easier (in my case) to exclude all domain but one or two.

– Another issue was that all images are dated from the day of importation. I had to change their date with a script and then use “Add From Server” to put them back in the media library with the old date.

– A last, It would be perfect if it could treat images in post_excerpt as it’s done in post_content.
