Hi! Starting from 19.12 ver. of your plugin, my breadcrumbs of post’s names started to appear: https://ibb.co/G2N4nn6 . Before, I had them hidden by a Clearfy plugin. I wrote to this plugin’s developer a long time ago, but he is not responding.

I guess, you’ve changed something in breadcrumbs in 19.12 version. So, my question is: how can I safely hide breadcrumbs of posts’ names by myself?

    Thanks in advance!

Btw, I do know, how to hide them through css. I am just not sure, how to do it better, to not hurt SEO.

Right now, I used .breadcrumb_last {visibility: hidden;}, and it worked.

But I am not sure, if it’s better to use visibility: hidden , or display: none; Or something else?

    Hello George,

Thanks for reaching out about your breadcrumbs. We recently released the Yoast SEO plugin v20.0. Can you please update to that version?

Then if you do not want the breadcrumbs feature of the plugin, you can disable it in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > Advanced > Breadcrumbs

Hi, @maybellyne , thanks for the answer!

However, I do want to keep breadcrumbs enabled. I just don’t want to use a posts’ name in it.

visibility: hidden; didn’t work as I expected. So I switched to .breadcrumb_last {display: none;} . I hope, that it won’t hurt SEO somehow.

    Hello George,

I can’t say if that will have any SEO impact. You can monitor the results and revert changes if you are unsatisfied.
