    Hi, done the breadcrumb setting in Rank Math but the breadcrumb format displayed is not as expected. And it seems it is a breadcrumb from Qi Theme. May you please advise? Thanks.
    Expected:
    Home/Category/Sub-Cat/Post
    or
    Home/Folder/Sub-folder/File

    In the past (20 years ago…) when I made websites, I put html files into different folders and then FTP, and the breadcrumb and url simply show as home/folder/file name. I am new to wordpress and Rank Math nowadays. And I find that the html are automatically shown as website/year/month/.html but year & month folders are not found when I open my website via FTP.
    Please kindly help and advise. Thanks.

    Hello,

    Please navigate to Settings > Permalinks and here you can set permalink structure of your choice. You can find more information in this link.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks for your help. But I am talking about breadcrumb not permalink. You could see the url of the posts are shown as expected but not the breadcrumb.

    Hi,

    Could you please send us url of the page or add a screenshot of the section where breadcrumbs are shown?
    Our theme has an option to display breadcrumbs in the title as shown in screenshot. If this option is set, then for blog posts breadcrumbs will be displayed in Home/Category/Sub-Cat/Post format as shown in screenshot.
    We also recommend checking the article in this link.

    Thanks for your prompt response and clear screenshots. Really appreciate.

    I don’t find the Qoode Essential Addons and Gioia Options in my WordPress.

    Here are the post links with ugly breadcrumb:

    Please advise. Thanks.

    Hi,

    We recommend installing Qode Essential Addons plugin alongside Qi theme. This is a free plugin and you can install it by navigating to Plugins > Add New. You can find more information in the article in this link.

    If you are perhaps referring to this section, please note that this is a part of blog post info, where all of the categories assigned to the blog post are listed.

    Do let us know if we can assist you with anything else.

    Hi, thanks for your help.

    The screenshot captures the breadcrumb of my page now But it starts ugly with a date instead of Home/Category/Sub-Cat/Post

    How to change it to start with Home?

    Thanks.

    Hi, tried to enable and disable “Title” and found that the Title with breadcrumb is oddly placed at the top of the page with very large wording (the red area in the screenshot) instead of small left aligned text above the post subject ( the blue area in the screenshot).
    Please kindly help. Thanks.

    Hi there,

    From your screenshot the blue area is the categories listed for that post. The title can be enabled from our Qode Essential Addons > Options > Title where you can select the styling for the breadcrumbs and set the breadcrumb tag to your needs, from H1 to paragraph as you can see on this screenshot. You could also set height for the title area, so it does not have to be that large. And the breadcrums will be Home/Category of the post/ Post title

    Also on each Post single page, if you click Edit Page you will see Qode Settings > Title settings where you can set the alignment and height to your needs.

    We hope this helped.

    Thanks. Some more problems:

    1. But how to make a change on the blue area of that screenshot while a breadcrumb title is used?
    2. Besdies, while Title height is changed to a smaller one, the font size is too large. How to fix this?
    3. The breadcrumb could show correctly as expected Subcategory link but not in Post link. Please help. Thanks.
    Breadcrumb expected: Home/Coffee Machine Review/Keurig/K-Express
    SubCategory link: https://mycoffeewiki.com/category/coffee-machine-review/keurig/k-express/
    Post link: https://mycoffeewiki.com/coffee-machine-review/keurig-k-express/

    Hi there,

    1. This is by default like this if you wish to remove the date you could try adding this CSS to Apperance > Customize > Additional CSS:

    .qodef-e-info-item.qodef-e-info-date.entry-date.published.updated {
        display: none;
    }

    The blue area that you marked displayes the categories assigned to a Blog Single and it is not a breadcrumbs area.

    2. If you refer to the font size of the red area, for the real Breadcrumbs you can change it from Qode Essential Addons > Options > Title > Breadcrumbs Tag

    3. Since there is no option to change the breadcrumbs structure.

    You can try using some 3rd party plugins for breadcrumbs that offer some customization options. Note that we have not tested any of the 3rd party plugin solutions, so we can’t guarantee their compatibility, but you can try and test them on your own.

    You can take a look at this useful article.

    We hope this helped!

    Best,
    Qode
