Breadcrumb Shortcode broken

    After updating Yoast SEO to version 23.3, the Breadcrumb Shortcode stopped displaying intermediary pages in the breadcrumb path, instead only showing the FIRST and LAST page of the path. After rolling back to version 22.8, the full breadcrumb path reappeared. Is this a known issue?

    Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. I tested the Yoast SEO breadcrumb shortcode in v23.3 and v22.8 and it works without issues. Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.

    Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.
