Breadcrumb still showing old page name

    I’ve updated the page and slug, but the old breadcrumb is still showing.

  • I just notice a similar issue on my site today, which wasn’t happening last week. For me, the breadcrumb is all of a sudden using the main post/page title instead of what’s in the “Breadcrumbs Title” field (found under the snippet preview accordion in the ‘Advanced’ section). I’m guessing what you’re experiencing is related somehow, but I don’t see much discussion on here about this bug.

    @lakeozark80 Can you please confirm what value the ‘Breadcrumbs Title’ is using in the Advanced tab of the Yoast metabox for the page in question?

    If you clear your site’s cache (server, plugin/theme, or CDN such as Cloudflare) does this resolve the issue? If you are not sure how to clear your server cache you should speak with your host provider.
