Since this filtering system is not applied to taxonomies, is it possible somehow to create a breadcrumb which reflects the actual page we are?

Eg https://mysite.com/category-pencils (Filter Everything created) must actually produce the same breadcrumb as https://mysite.com/category/pencils (Woo default).

At least it would be useful to know if those values are stored somehow and which they are, to use them in a similar way as custom fields.

    Hi @fesarlis

Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.

Unfortunately, not really. If you place a filter on the page “cars,” the breadcrumbs will lead to this page. If you apply any filters, it will not change the breadcrumbs because physically it is on the same page, just with the filter particles in the URL.

You can only write some custom code that will parse the URL and based on this change it.

Thank you. I have managed to solve it with custom code. Please have a look at my newer post which describes something that could be considered important.

Well, unfortunately, if you have a filter on the home page or any other pages, it will not display any breadcrumbs to the archive pages. The plugin is filtering posts/products by any attributes, it is not working as an archive pages crawler.

For example, you have a category filter on the home page, you choose any category and have something like mysite.com/category-car/ then you choose another category and you have mysite.com/category-car-or-bicycle/ where it should lead, or it should display a list of breadcrumbs for each chosen category? But then we have two or more filters from different taxonomies, what should be done in this case?

You can place filters on your archive pages, filter on them, and simply make a menu on your site in order to navigate to the needed category page with the filters in it.

    Best Regards – Victor
