• Hi @all,
Maybe i was stupid and the question was raised before and i didn’t found it.
Due to my Design, i’ve disbaled the Pagetitel (where the Breadcrumbs are standard located) and moved to the Breadcrumbs (with the Shortcode) into the Top-Bar.

Now due to the fact the Breadcrumbs aren’t shown on the Homescreen/First page there is only a white empty Bar on Top, until you’ve get into Categories, Posts or anything else. There they are displayed as suggested.

    So my question is:
Is there a way to Display/Enable the Breadcrumbs on Home/Startpage, as it seems this is hidden by default and there is no option in the customizer to change.

    Greetings,

  • Hello @guybrushthreepwood,

    Thank you for reaching out,

The reason breadcrumbs aren’t showing on the homepage is that breadcrumbs are designed to serve as a navigation aid, displaying the path users have taken from the homepage to the current page. Since the homepage is the starting point, there’s no “path” to display, which is why they are typically hidden on the homepage by default.

    Hope it helps.

    Dear Sahin,
    Thats absolutely clear,
but as other Theme-Breadcrumbs, or Breadcrumbs-Plugins they show only the Home-Button or Home-Icon on the Startpage, so i thought there could be a possibility to do also in WP Ocean, as i don’T want to relay on addition Plugins.

    Hi @guybrushthreepwood,

This feature is currently unavailable in OceanWP through the settings.
However, you can add it by customization it. For example, you can use OceanWP hooks that we’ve provided here: https://docs.oceanwp.org/category/376-hooks.

    Best Regards
