  • Hi @granatdesign,

Can you share with us a link to a screenshot that shows your breadcrumb settings? Do you have any taxonomy set to appear in the breadcrumb path for Posts?

Yes I selected ‘category’ for posts. The issue seems to be that it wants to grab fl-builder category instead – not all of the time – but most. Really perplexed.

Can you please try resetting our indexables in the database tables by following the steps below?

    1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Hit the “Reset indexables & migrations” button.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “SEO Data Optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your pages.

So you selected ‘category’ for posts. The issue seems intermittently happening that it wants to grab fl-builder category instead.

To narrow down the cause to see if any other plugins combination involved with this, we would like to ask you to perform a conflict check with only Yoast SEO, Beaver Builder theme and plugin activated and all non-Yoast plugins deactivate.

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.`

Thanks for reply. I did these steps and still had issues.
What I just did now is recreate those problematic posts, and they new ones are fine.

I think the issue occurred when I imported the posts.

    thx!

We are sorry to hear that you’re still having trouble with our plugin. Due to the nature of the issue, we’ll need to take a look at your setup. However, we are unable to do it here as this is a public forum.

So, if you have an active Yoast SEO Premium subscription or if you can consider buying one, we can investigate the issue further directly on your setup privately through email.

However, if you don’t wish to get the Yoast SEO Premium subscription, that’s completely fine. In this case, you’ll need to troubleshoot the issue further on your setup as we are literally out of any clue at this moment without taking a look at the setup. So, someone from the community might step forward as well who has experienced the issue or familiar with the parent/child breadcrumbs relationship.

    Thanks for your understanding!
