Breadcrumbs displaying wrong page title

    Hi!

    We’re having Problems with the widget ‘breadcrumbs’, but only on the home page. there they’re displaying the page title ‘blog’. The Page Title Should be ‘Startseite’. I have already selected ‘static page’ in settings > reading for the home page. Why is it displaying the wrong title?

    Hope you are fine & apologize for the late response.
    Your page title depends on breadcrumbs. Your page title is ‘Schmelzle + Partner‘ That’s why showing the same & You set the blog page as Home that’s why it’s showing it’s a Blog.

    Actually it’s a bad practice to put Breadcrumbs on the Home Page. We will be suggest you to use Breadcrumbs on your Child pages.

    thanks for your quick reply. Yes, the page Title is Schmlezle + Partner, however, like I said in the original Post, the home page is set to a static page and has never been set to a blog page. I attached a screenshot. It is in german, I apologize: https://snipboard.io/9Hm8Uo.jpg

    Ah I see, then we will get rid of the Breadcrumbs there.
