    Hi,

I am building a website and i created an custom post type “Portfolio” and a taxonomy “Branches”, because i want my single cpt url structure to be:
domain-name.com/portfolio/branche/post-name i make use of a plugin called “WP Better Permalinks” and it works like it should, but now i want to add breadcrumbs to the page and everything is going well except for the cpt single page.

When i visit the cpt “domain-name.com/portfolio” the breadcrumb displays correct. When i visit the cpt/taxonomy “domain-name.com/portfolio/branche/” the breadcrumb displays correct, but on the cpt single page where i expect it to be “Home ? portfolio ? branche ? post-name” it leaves out the taxonomy so i get “Home ? portfolio ? post-name”. Am i missing something?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @marcokiel77

We understand you’ve created a CPT and are wondering about the breadcrumbs output.

Please do check that you’ve implemented the Yoast SEO breadcrumbs as per this article.

Then, could you go to your WP admin dashboard > SEO (sidebar) > Search Appearance > Breadcrumbs tab, and check what taxonomy you’ve set to show for that chosen content type and see if it’s configured correctly?

We are going ahead and mark this topic as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance, feel free to create a new topic. Thank you!
