    Hello @misslizz

Thanks for reaching out regarding your breadcrumbs. I noticed the issue is only with the NL version. Please confirm that you have set the NL homepage to the right URL and not this incorrect URL. You can check that in WordPress > Pages > All Pages.

    Hi!

    Thank you for thinking along!
Im not exactly sure if we mean the same, but the front page option has been set to the right page…

    Do you mean this?

It happens for all three secondary languages (NL, IT, FIN) not for English.
It’s a website that I didn’t build myself and recently took over, so for me it’s also still a bit of searching and guessing…

The post you shared was only translated into EN and NL, but I found this one that’s translated into NL, EN and IT. I see the disparity in the URLs linked to Home in the breadcrumbs: EN, NL and IT.

Your screenshot shows the EN homepage. Can you also share screenshots for the other three translations? Also, please include the respective URL of those pages by right-clicking on View, then copy link address. See a screenshot of my homepage translation in NL.

    Hi!

Yes correct, it are three languages that have a blog and in 2 out of 3 languages the home breadcrumb part is redirecting to the wrong url.

    ENG: is correct url
NL: correct url should be https://animalheroes.eu/nl/ (this is the page set as homepage for NL)
IT: correct url should be https://animalheroes.eu/it/ (set for IT)

So the breadcrumb gets its info somewhere else and not from the url that has been assigned to be homepage… Moreover, the common error in both languages is that /home/ is added to the url.

Thanks for the clarification. Please try the following:

    1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations‘, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation‘, and ‘Reset Internal link counter‘ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.

Please let us know if the reported issue remains after resetting the optimized data.

    Hi!

Sorry for the late reply (holiday season) but unfortunately this did not help…

    Any other suggestions?

We’d have to investigate further on this as it could be something specific to your setup, but we are unable to do so over these public forums. You might want to consider Yoast SEO Premium for personal premium support so we can take a closer look at this.

We are an NGO (pet rescue) and unfortunately don’t have a budget to spend on plugins,
